Child Studies @ UC Riverside is a group of research laboratories at the UCR Department of Psychology. Each laboratory specializes in a different area of research, but we all share a common interest: understanding how infants and children develop. This work would not be possible without support from the community—that's why we need your help!

If you have a child under the age of 16 and are interesting in participating in research studies, please sign up here or read our FAQ for more information. If you have already signed up for a study and need information on how to find us, please check our directions page or find out how to contact the lab that scheduled your appointment.

We study how infants

and children:
  • - Crawl, walk, and reach
  • - Interact with other people
  • - Manage feelings of stress
